NOEL GALLAGHER
is consulting his lawyers over an article in today's News of the World
attributing derogative remarks about his former band members to the Oasis songwriter. Yet again this tawdry tabloid is fabricating lies about ex-members of Oasis, and has clearly sunk to new depths this time.
In today's paper they write that Noel has made derogatory comments about Liam's new band (which they still insist on referring to as Oasis, another of their many errors). The claims made in the article and the quotes attributed to Noel
are simply untrue. What's more, we have learned that the article was
written by the same hack journalist who brought fans the 'exclusive'
that Liam had recruited a female bass player recently. The
woman named in that article, who's actually a fan website editor,
embarrassed the newspaper with a categorical denial within hours of the
story surfacing.

'Let There Be Love'는 형제의 듀엣곡 중 하나로 예전부터 가지고 싶었다지만 'Lyla'와 'The Importance Of Being Idle'은 순전히 리암이 작곡한 'Won't Let You Down'과 'Pass Me Down The Wine' 때문에 샀다. 리암의 작곡실력은 어떠냐고? 이것에 대해선 나중에 따로 포스팅할 예정인데 간단히 감상부터 말하자면 훌륭하다. 이미 다들 아는 사실 아닌가?

이 기사를 읽고 노엘이 그저 밉기만 하던 내 마음이 조금이나마 사그러들었다. 대신 눈물은 찔끔 났지만 ㅜㅜ
리암과 노엘의 관계를 악화시키는 데에 한 몫 단단히 했다 생각되어 얄밉던 러셀 브랜드인데 사실은 좋은 사람이구나. 리암과 노엘의 곁에 그래도 형제의 화해를 바라는 좋은 사람들이 많이 남아있는 것 같아 위안이 된다.
이제는 이 형제가 다음 세상에서 만날 생각하지 말고 얼른 얼굴 보고 화해했으면 하는 바램 뿐이다.
